Blending history with living and commerical
In Providence, Rhode Island—an area marked by vacant and aging buildings that reflect long-term urban decline—these underutilized structures present an opportunity for renewal. By transforming existing voids, tunnels, and gaps into habitable and commercial spaces, this project proposes a new model of adaptive reuse that integrates living and working environments. Through this intervention, new spatial and social relationships emerge between the remaining structures, fostering connectivity, activity, and urban revitalization.
